Nearest Airport: San Javier (Murcia) 25 minutes drive; Alicante 45 minutes drive; the new airport (building has commenced) at Corvera will be 15 minutes drive it opens in 2010.
Golf: Polaris opted for the best golfer in the World, Jack Nicklaus, to design their courses. There are only 10 Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses in the whole of Europe … and 9 Jack Nicklaus courses are on Polaris World Resorts. The El Valle Jack Nicklaus course is a masterpiece which fits into the overall jigsaw, in that the ‘buy on one, play on all’ concept allows owners and their guests to play on all 9 of the Jack Nicklaus courses on the ‘Nicklaus Golf Trail’. 3 courses are open, 6 more are to be built, 3 of which are ‘Bear’s Best’ courses, and all 9 are within a 25 km radius of El Valle. Next door is Mosa Trajectum, and then a short drive away is peraleja, Roda Golf,La Manga and La Sreena Golf.
Cafe, Bars and Restaurants: Around a 2 to 3 minute drive within the Resort itself lies the club house which is now fully open, you can see this from your garden and pool, with a café, tapas bar, the Social Club and its restaurant, the golf club, pro-shop and a general store selling all day-to-day items, and also the now famous Irish bar with entertainment at weekends. The Town Centre when that opens will have café, bars and restaurants and possibly a spa and hotel.
Beach: The Mediterranean is 25 minutes drive away, and the warm inland sea of the Mar Menor is 30 minutes drive away. In addition Polaris World are going to build a fabulous Beach Club right at the very tip of the magnificent La Manga Strip on the Mar Menor.
