Golf: One of Europe’s first truly ecologically golf course sites is here at the 5 Star Golf and Sports Mosa Trajectum Resort. In fact there are 3 golf courses here designed by Brian Connelly (who also designed the Belfry). Built to both USGA and PGA standards here are the ‘Stone’ course, the ‘Olive’ course and the ‘Pine’ course, playable in a variety of combinations of 9-holes each, and built with a multitude of water hazards. There is also a 9-hole Par 3 Challenge course making a total of 36 holes playable in all. Next door is the 5-Star Polaris World El Valle 18-hole Jack Nicklaus course. Within 10 minutes drive is another Polaris World 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course at La Torre. Within a 15 minute drive are numerous other courses; Peraleja, United Golf Resorts, Roda, Hacienda Riquelme, Hacienda del Alamo and numerous others as Los Olivos de Mosa is situated within the new ‘Golf Triangle’. In total there are maybe 15 golf courses within a 30 minute drive. Cafe, Bars and Restaurants: The 5 Star Golf and Sports Mosa Trajectum Resort itself has a newly opened commercial centre. As of February 2009 there are 2 café bars and restaurants open but due to open by the summer of 2009 are a supermarket, hairdressers, a beauty salon, a shoe shop and a wine bar. This still leaves many units available for potential new businesses. Also within the 5 Star Golf and Sports Mosa Trajectum Resort is the old parador itself, now an up-market place for al-fresco eating outside at its tapas bar and inside in its restaurant. Finally within the 5 Star Golf and Sports Mosa Trajectum Resort is a Church open for worship. Just outside the gates of the 5 Star Golf and Sports Mosa Trajectum Resort is a shop adjoining the petrol station selling daily provisions, and just opposite that is a popular Spanish restaurant and bar, hugely popular and very well attended. Next door to the 5 Star Golf and Sports Mosa Trajectum Resort is Polaris World’s flagship Resort of El Valle with its 5 Star Social Club, tapas bar, café and restaurant, plus it’s Irish bar with it’s weekend entertainment programme. 15 minutes drive from numerous small Spanish towns; Roldan, Balsicas, San Cayetano with their cafés, bars, restaurants, shops, chemists, Churches etc., and another Polaris World Resort called La Torre with its large array of café bars and restaurants. 17 minutes drive to the vibrant regional city of Murcia with all that a capital city of the region has to offer. 20 minutes drive from the ancient sea port city of Cartagena. Beach: The Mediterranean is 30 minutes drive away, and the warm inland sea of the Mar Menor is 25 minutes drive away.
