Costa Blanca means the ‘white coast’, testimony to the white sandy beaches this region is blessed with. The Costa Blanca is blessed with popular beach resorts, popular golf courses, plenty of white sandy beaches and a lively ExPat community. It has “something for everyone”.

It is a region of much diversity. It contains the ‘concrete jungle’ that is Benidorm that alone accommodates 250,000 tourists (and rising) each year, but then there are tiny secluded coves along this Costa’s coast and inland there are truly beautiful villages. By far most buyers buy along, or as near to the coast as their money will allow.

As an introduction to this beautiful region, the northern coastline is hilly, and here lies expensive but popular Denia, Javea and Altea. Coming south down the coast the land flattens out and one comes to the metropolis that is Benidorm, but even here there is a hidden beauty. About mid way down the coast is the regions capital of Alicante with the regions main airport (there is a second airport but that is inland at Valencia). Coming even further south are the sand dunes and the protected area that is Guardamar then it is Torrevieja, a haven for ExPats and cheap properties. Just below Torrevieja is the beautiful and popular Orihuela Costa part of the Costa Blanca, and it is here, and the area inland from Guardamar that we specialise in.

The Costa Blanca has historically been popular with British holiday home buyers and holidaymakers, thanks to the ever-growing seaside resorts of Benidorm, and to a lesser extent Alicante, which is a lovely small city overlooked by an ancient castle and it has a number of large marinas and excellent beaches. The region, the coastline in particular, is well serviced by a highly developed infrastructure of good roads, motorways, hotels, restaurants, rail links, supermarkets, schools, dozens of golf courses and good quality property developments. There are lively ExPat communities in most main towns, and not just of British ExPats – there are German and Scandinavian ExPat communities too. And what may come as a surprise is that this is a culinary hot spot!

There are some amazing beaches all along the coast, but inland can be breathtaking, with pretty little villages, ancient monuments, beautiful natural parks and scenic mountains. Despite the large number of ExPats who live here, the region retains a Spanish feel, especially in the coastal fishing villages and inland, and the local festivals are not to be missed.

Property prices tend historically to be higher here than neighbouring Costa’s, but then the region is more established as a tourist orientated and ExPat focused region. Our selecting the Orihuela Costa and inland from Guardamar is based upon the quality of the developments, the competitiveness of the pricing, the excellent beaches and the fact that this part, the most southern in the Costa Blanca, teamed up with the northern Costa Calida, has earned itself the title of “The New Costa del Golf”. This area has also won the coveted title of “The 2nd Healthiest Place in the World” by the World Health Organisation. Little wonder then that is an area that we specialise in and love, as here there is “something for everyone” – beach, golf, infrastructure, value for money, fantastic food and lots and lots of sunshine!

Being selective as we are, we can offer you fantastic properties in beautiful surroundings and at excellent prices. We are not in the ‘cheap and cheerful’ property market – we are in the ‘dreams’ market (although some of our dream properties are at bargain prices!), so you can be assured that we will help to make your dream come true!
