Introduction
This is going to be something very different and very special. A short way inland from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor, and with a backdrop of mountains, in a large area of orange groves is the 3 Molinos Golf and Sport Resort. The properties being built here are stunning but it is not just the properties that make 3 Molinos Golf and Sport Resort so attractive. And nor is it the beautiful location. Here the facilities surpass those of every Resort that surrounds it. Here will be not one but 2 golf courses. And not just a small town centre but a thriving centre of cafés, bars, restaurants, shops, boutiques, an art gallery, an International School, a 5 star Hotel, a spa with thermal waters, and a Theatre for shows and concerts. The sports facilities surpass anything anywhere around it, even Polaris World who have thus far lead the pack in ‘All in One Resorts’. 3 Molinos Golf and Sport Resort will have an Athletics Stadium, a Cycling Track (cycling is a big sport in Spain), a Tennis Centre and a Tennis Academy, a unique Equestrian Centre and even a Stud. There will be a business centre too and even an International School. And finally there will be a Medical Centre. This is the most complete Resort in this part of Spain… no other Resort offers so much. It has it all, stunning properties at excellent value for money prices, Golf, Sports, Culture, Leisure and Entertainment facilities that surpass the best of the rest. And if all of this sounds familiar it is because 'The Face' of 3 Molinos Golf and Sport Resorts is Gary Lineker – he has been promoting this Resort in the UK.

Our personal opinion
3 Molinos is a unique Resort, being built by the Mediterraneo Hispa Group S.A. and what a Resort! Sometimes others claim to have built a “Resort” but all that they have added is a café, bar, a small restaurant, a shop and a golf course. Here at 3 Molinos the word “Resort” has true depth and breadth to it – no other “Resort” offers so much. The properties are 1st class and range from apartments to townhouses to villas, most with stunning views over the golf course … which even if you are not a golf fan the view has to be far better than looking at your neighbours wall! But more than being a Golf Resort this is a unique Sports Resort as well. It has everything – there is something here for everyone… and unique in this part of Spain is the fact that all this is NOT based upon the builder gaining a mortgage, but private money from one of Spain’s wealthiest families, headed by Josefina Alcaraz Marin, a formidable business woman who will not be swayed from building the dream that she has steadfastly created from scratch. And yes, she will be living here too! This is one of those “really safe” developments – the family own the land, there is no mortgage, the planning was slowly executed over 5 years and the licences are all in place.

History
The land is set in rural Murcia, and has for as long as one can remember been a huge orange grove set with a backdrop of mountains. Josefina (Business Woman of The Year 1996), head of Mediterraneo Hispa Group S.A. bought 5 million square meters of this land as the setting for her benchmark 3 Molinos Resort project. The project was 5 years in the planning and no land was moved until all of the necessary licences were in place. Then work commenced on the infrastructure and in the Spring of 2008 the first phase of building commenced.

Developer
The Mediterraneo Hispa Group S.A is headed by Josefina Alcaraz Marin (Business Woman of The Year 1996) has its head office in Murcia city, the regions capital. The business is family owned and the building of this, their benchmark project is the focus and personal dream of Josefina. The family’s business origins are however in transport as they owned Spain’s largest haulage business of over 600 refridgerarated trucks for 40 years – this is the source of their personal wealth. They branched out into property development and their first project was 52 individual villas built in La Alcayna. They now own a land bank of over 20 million square meters of land that they have acquired over the last 10 years, 5 million of which is devoted to 3 Molinos Resort. The family also owns the famous ‘Pena de Bejar’ one of the most respected Andalucian Horse Studs in Spain, now with 400 horses stabled there including the famous ‘Flamenco Dancing Horses’. This Stud will be relocated to 3 Milonos Resort. This is very much a family run business with family business values – this is no anonymous and faceless multinational conglomerate. And that is a refreshing change! And rather than there being no 'public face' to the business, this photo is of the Directors of the Company.
