To assist you in your budgeting we here at spanish home 4u have looked at a number of the Mortgage Calculator web sites (there are thousands available on the web!) and we put forward to you two sites that seem independent, easy, fast and helpful.

Both offer a range of free mortgage calculators, designed to help you calculate your monthly mortgage payments and fees. These mortgage calculators will give you an idea of how much mortgage payments will be at a particular interest rate, however please do not forget to add into your figures the cost of all the fees involved to the cost of your purchase.

The 2 sites are;

1. yourmortgage.co.uk as this site brings over 21 years of industry expertise, breaking news, tips and advice on every aspect of mortgages. They also have ‘best buy’ tables. There is a simple form on this site, which if you submit it they will arrange for a mortgage broker in your area in the UK to call you back.
2. The other is moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk which is The Financial Standards Associations own web site, so it is as independent as one can get! 

There are specific calculators designed to suit a range of needs, for instance a basic mortgage calculator, a Buy to Let calculator and even a 1st time buyer calculator. In all instances it is recommended that you consult a financial or mortgage adviser to find out exactly how much you could borrow and exactly what you will have to pay, now and in the future.
