Both offer a range of free mortgage calculators, designed to help you calculate your monthly mortgage payments and fees. These mortgage calculators will give you an idea of how much you can afford to borrow at a particular interest rate, however please do not forget to add into your figures the cost of all the fees involved to the cost of your purchase.

1. yourmortgage.co.uk as this site brings over 21 years of industry expertise, breaking news, tips and advice on every aspect of mortgages. They also have ‘best buy’ tables. There is a simple form on this site, which if you submit it they will arrange for a mortgage broker in your area to call you back.
2. The other is moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk which is The Financial Standards Associations own web site, so it is as independent as one can get!
