Introduction
Jardines de Alhama is Spanish for the Gardens of Alhama. Referred to as the Polaris World Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort, as Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort and simply as Jardines de Alhama. It is a Resort within a Resort, as it is part of the ‘Super Resort’, the much larger Polaris Eorld Condado de Alhama Golf resort, what Polaris World call “A World of Resorts”. Polaris World Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort, as mentioned above, is a Resort within a Resort. It is situated along the southern boundary of the Polaris World Condado de Alhama Golf Resort. It has been built in a ‘W’ shape, with the tip of each part of the ‘W’ extending into the open areas of Condado de Alhama, facing into the golf course.

All of the properties at Polaris World Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort are apartments, built in low rise blocks of just ground floor apartments and above them 1st floor apartments – these are not high rise tower blocks. All apartments face in to their own communal swimming pools and lush gardens.

Our Personal Opinion
Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort, being a Polaris World Resort, itself being located within Condado de Alhama, a “World of Resorts” as it is, should mean that the choice of leisure pursuits available, the breadth of café bars and restaurants and the choice of no less than 3 Jack Nicklaus golf courses on-site mean that here should be something for everyone. The Polaris World Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort has an open and airy feel, things are well spaced out, and the apartments are some of the least expensive anywhere in this part of Spain. Add into the value for money quotient all the things that Polaris World build in to their Resorts and these properties become unbeatable value for money.

Location and communications
• Located inland in the region of Murcia, with a backdrop of mountains.
• About 10 to 15 minutes inland from the beautiful beaches of Mazarron (for more information click on the highlighted text).
• Close to the Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia.
• San Javier (Murcia) airport 25 minutes drive.
• The new Corvera airport, due to open in 2011 will be 20 minutes drive away.

Developer

SENIOR properties available?
Not on the Polaris World price list. However the ground floor apartments might be suitable anyway. Plus, when we recently visited the show apartments, we were also shown another ground floor 3 bedroom apartment where the 3rd bedroom wall had been taken away to open up the rest of the accommodation. This would make it even more suitable.

Building site or finished development?
The 'public' launch of this development was in January 2008 when there were 2,500 workmen on site from 400 sub contractors, and in the height of the building works 6,000 workmen on site. All properties are now finished.

• Outside of the confines of this particular Polaris World Jardines de Alhama Golf Resort are the numerous other Resorts of the much larger Polaris World Condado de Alhama ‘Super Resort’, so countless leisure and sporting activities will be here, very close by. This is a true ‘Super Resort’, the very first in this part of Spain.
• The seaside town of Mazarron is just 10 to 15 minutes drive away with all of its typically Spanish cafés, bars, restaurants and shops (for more information click on the highlighted text).
• The Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia is very close by for a traditional inland and unrushed experience.
• As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf. 

Golf
• 3 Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf courses planned to be on site. Not just one but two ‘Bears Best’ courses and the third course being a ‘Signature’ course.
• As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf. Of note is the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the 9 golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, all of which are within Polaris World Resorts, 3 are to be here on site and all are within a 25 kilometre radius.
• Close by are other non-Polaris World courses, in total there are approaching 20 golf courses within a 25 kilometre radius!

Beach

Polaris Beach Club
Polaris World plan to build a fabulous Beach Club right at the very tip of the magnificent La Manga Strip on the Mar Menor.
