Jardines de Alhama is Spanish for the Gardens of Alhama. It is a Resort within a Resort, as it is part of the ‘Super Resort’, the much larger ‘Condado de Alhama’, what Polaris World call “A World of Resorts”. Jardines de Alhama, as mentioned above, is a Resort within a Resort. It is situated along the southern boundary of Condado de Alhama. It has been built in a ‘W’ shape, with the tip of each part of the ‘W’ extending into the open areas of Condado de Alhama, facing into the golf course. The properties at Jardines de Alhama are all apartments, built in low rise blocks of just ground floor apartments and above them 1st floor apartments – these are not high rise tower blocks of apartments. All apartments face in to their own communal swimming pools and lush gardens. Our Personal Opinion.jpg) Jardines de Alhama being a Polaris World Resort, itself being located within Condado de Alhama, a “World of Resorts” as it is, should mean that the choice of leisure pursuits available, the breadth of café bars and restaurants and the choice of no less than 3 Jack Nicklaus golf courses on-site mean that here should be something for everyone. The Resort has an open and airy feel, things are well spaced out, and the apartments are some of the least expensive anywhere in this part of Spain. Add into the value for money quotient all the things that Polaris World build in to their Resorts and these properties become unbeatable value for money. Location and communications • Located inland in the region of Murcia, with a backdrop of mountains. • About 10 to 15 minutes inland from the beaches of Mazarron (for information on Mazarron please select the item Mazarron under the bullet point ‘Places of Interest’ in the left menu). • Close to the Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia. • San Javier (Murcia) airport 25 minutes drive. • The new Corvera airport, due to open in 2010 will be 20 minutes drive away.

Plus, when we recently visited the show apartments, we were also shown another ground floor 3 bedroom apartment where the 3rd bedroom wall had been taken away to open up the rest of the accommodation. Building site or finished development? The 'public' launch of this development was in January 2008, so work is in the early stages. But there were 2,500 workmen on site from 400 sub contractors, and in the height of the building works 6,000 workmen will be on site. That is a lot of input, but hopefully it will mean that completion will be on time, that most (if not all) properties will be completed roughly at the same time, and that the workmen will then en-mass move off site.

This is a true ‘Super Resort’, the very first in this part of Spain. • The seaside town of Mazarron is just 10 to 15 minutes drive away with all of its typically Spanish cafés, bars, restaurants and shops. • The Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia is very close by for a traditional inland and unrushed experience. • As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf.
